For over 80 years, the Cub Scouts have been excelling at having fun, making new friends and learning new things.
Our Pack
Pack 2473 is comprised of about 75 boys in grades K-5 in the Nottingham and Discovery Elementary School neighborhoods in Arlington, Virginia. The primary mission of Cub Scouts is for boys to have fun. We do this through exciting parent-son activities that engage boys in a positive and active way. Along the way, Cub Scouts learn about friendship, citizenship and character.

Meetings
We meet once a month throughout the school year as a Pack. Smaller groups within our Pack, called Dens, meet separately 1-2 times per month. Dens are comprised of Cub Scouts of the same age/grade level.
Special Events
Our Pack organizes 1-2 camping trips per year at Boy Scouts of America campgrounds. Older Cub Scouts (rising 4th and 5th graders) can also spend a week camping at the Goshen Scout Reservation over the summer.
We participate in the annual Scouting for Food food drive to collect food donations for Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC).
